Stream of Conscious

 

Hi Everybody! Most of you recognize me as Heaven. Welcome  to my world of "consciousness". For those of you all who may not know me, I was born and raised in Chicago IL. I currently live in Savannah GA. I have a passion for children; I currently work as a Behavioral Therapist for children with autism. I’m the youngest of 5 siblings, with two loving parents. I hold two degrees: Bachelors in Applied Behavior Analysis and Masters in Special Education (ABA). Growing up I’ve experienced more than anybody could imagine; we all have stories. Stream of Conscious is a combination of experiences, issues that occur in our daily lives, and those that I’ve encountered in life that have shared their experiences as well.

I decided to create this blog to reveal my secret passion for writing. With sharing my creative side with you all, I hope to reach out those who can relate to some of the issues that are addressed in some of the stories. Here you will find a series of short stories relevant to events that some of us may experience as young individuals, no matter the race, gender or sexuality, and relationships. These stories are aimed to appeal to those who have issues expressing or understanding some of the issues that we experience growing up in this generation. The names and events that are utilized in the stories are inspired by true events and people. Real Names and/or dates are not used and will never be. Events have been altered to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of those who have allowed me to utilize their experiences to reach out to the world.
